HR Law Canada is now accepting speaker proposals for Workplace Law Talks 2026, a national virtual series running Tuesdays from Oct. 6 to Nov. 24.
We’re looking for eight speakers — employment and labour lawyers, adjudicators, academics and senior HR practitioners — to lead one-hour sessions for an audience of lawyers, HR professionals and employers from across Canada.
What makes a strong proposal
The best Workplace Law Talks sessions are built the way HR Law Canada’s coverage is built: grounded in real rulings, real disputes and real workplace decisions. We’re especially interested in sessions on:
Strong proposals in other areas of workplace law are welcome. What we’re not looking for: product pitches, generic “top 10 tips” sessions, or anything a lawyer in the audience could have written from memory.
The format
Each session runs 60 minutes: roughly 40 minutes of presentation followed by 15 minutes of live Q&A moderated by the host. Sessions are recorded and made available on demand. Solo presentations and two-person point-counterpoint formats are both welcome — panels are not.
