The damages are getting bigger. So is the list of people held responsible.

Sexual harassment remains one of the most damaging and most litigated issues in the Canadian workplace, and the consequences keep growing. Human rights awards are larger, health and safety law imposes a duty to investigate, and leaders are being held personally accountable.

The risk has also moved beyond the office. Harassment happens over text and direct message, at off-site events, and at the hands of clients, customers and members of the public.

Unwelcome takes HR, legal and safety leaders through the full arc of the issue: prevention, policy, response and consequences.

You'll leave knowing

  • Where human rights damages and leadership accountability stand in 2027
  • What your OHS program and training must include, and how to prove it
  • How to take a complaint and protect the complainant from day one
  • How to respond when the harasser is a senior leader, a client or a screen name
  • When discipline, settlements and NDAs resolve a case, and when they backfire
